It's watered-down vodka, people!

I just saw an ad for Smirnoff Source, which is a mixture of Smirnoff and "pure spring water."

That's right, folks: They're selling us watered-down vodka.

You know, that reminds me of a moment in the first episode of Season 2 of Slings and Arrows--a series you must see if you haven't already--when one of the major donors says to the CEO of a struggling theatre company, "You guys have got to get your act together and learn marketing. We sell people water. Something they can get by turning on the tap."

At least this water has something a little "extra".

Fabulous. Though I think the Seagrams corp policy has been to do just that for many many years... but some truth in advertising blokes got ahold of 'em and now, well, see what you get?

Blessings and good fortune to recipes of the damned recipes. Etc.
